Kinnell, George I wish he was playing for Newcastle United now! They need good Scottish defenders as they had in their heyday, so many years ago.

Kinnell, George I was with George in the Army doing our National Service. We were in the 43rd LAA Regiment Royal Artillery in Cyprus 1956 to 1958. George was a Bombardier (two stripes I think) and he captained the Regimental Football Team. I played for the regiment at Rugby Union as I was not much good at football. We were in the Officers Mess together. Later I saw his photograph in a newspaper in Sydney when he played for Marconi Football Club. Sadly I was not able to contact him to recall on old times.
