Rioch, Neil I played for Icknield High when we beat you. Also Under 14 Luton schoolboys when you and Ken Reid were easily the best players in our team. Got dropped after one game lost interest change to rugby. Went back to Tanzania now in USA as a neurologist.
Always proud of your success!!

RIOCH, Neil Hello Neil. My name is Derrick Meldrum. I was with Luton town as an apprentice when you and Bruce were there. You both left to go Villa. I didn't last long under Allan Brown and came back to Dundee. It would be good to hear from you.

Rioch, Neil Hello Neil, I'm wondering if you are the same Neil Rioch who was a ball-boy at the World Cup final in '66. If so, I wondered if you would answer a few questions for me. I am a writer studying a degree and have a forthcoming assignment of a historical event over 20 years. I have chosen the World Cup. It has to be written as someone entering this environment for the very first time and have decided to write it as a new ball-boy. Could you help?I would be so grateful if you could. Kind regards Julie-Anne Booth

Rioch, Neil Neil Rioch was the 1st Englishman to touch the ball in the 1966 world cup final - as a ball boy! If Neil threw the ball to a different England player to the one he chose it would have been a different game, so forget Geoff Hurst, Neil Rioch won the world cup for England with that throw in.
