Played with Jim at Luton Town. It's great to hear he is in good health. Spoke to him again many years later when I was looking after the Portsmouth Players Coach as it arrived at Ayresome Park Middlesbrough. He spotted me first as I stood there in full Police Uniform.

I have lost touch with my cousin Jim, I used to stay with him at his home in Chorleywood, his mother my aunt violet [Nee Morris] was my dads sister. I also knew David Cliss from eNFIELD school I played with him.
I played club cricket with Jim at Camberley back in the mid 70's and then with his son Nicky. lovely guy, gave me his county cap and a pair of pads. But I have to say the dressing room was a place to avoid if he got out cheaply. The holes in the wall where his bat landed were a constant reminder.
I was a youth player at West Ham in 1966-8 and often trained at Chadwell Heath with Jim and some of the other great players. I now live in California and ran into Jim again around 1992 at a Bank Of the West branch in Santa Cruz and believe Jim was a bank employee at that time.
My dad Jim and my mom Lisa live in Fresno, Ca. My dad is now a very healthy, active 80 year old. He plays golf 6 days a week and gets up every day at 6am. He's doing great.
I went to school with Jim , we were pals and visited each other's homes. After leaving school we drifted apart Jim going on to a great career. I have tried to make contact with Jim several times over the years but to no avail,l made contact to W H F C on 3. Occasions but got no reply , l would really like to get in touch again as both of us are now getting long in the tooth , If you get to read this Jim please make contact if. You would like to re establish our old friendship.
I remember his sports shop opening on the Old Dean. Packed shopping centre with Daleks running around!!! That was the 60s.
We were on the MCC groundstaff as young pro's. Jim introduced me to Dave Brubeck. Great, great fielder, which few people seem to remember. He was my own inspiration as a fielder on the Nursery ground.
Happy days, would love to make contact with him and his beautiful (hairdresser) wife.
