WAGSTAFF, Ken Waggy - not just a great footballer but a great entertainer too. Always played with a cheeky grin and a smile on his face. The Stags answer to Lionel Messi!

WAGSTAFF, Ken My all time hero Waggy was brilliant the best I ever saw at Boothferry - my hero!

WAGSTAFF, Ken I used to stand on the terrace at Field Mill when Ken was playing for the Stags. I collected football autographs from an early age. I contacted Ken with the assistance of The Mansfield paper The Chad about 15 years ago he took the time to write me a personal letter and sent me 3 signed pictures from his Mansfield days . In todays era the players have in general no loyalty or time for the regular supporter. The players of yester year always had time for their supporters. Hope Ken is in good health and wishing him all the best for 2015.

WAGSTAFF, Ken Playing football at sec school, one of my tricks was to volley the tennis ball with the side of my foot brought up & through on the right side of my body without bringing the ball 'under control'. Waggy performed this striking trick many times in the mid 60's when I followed city as a student in hull.he was brill at wrong footing defenders - & scoring many outstanding goals.
