Youlden, Tommy I’m a lifelong Chelsea supporter but love footie in general. As a young kid I used to get “GOAL” magazine every week and for some reason clearly remember reading a feature on Tommy with the headline “I want to play for Pompey forever” with a photo of a young blond-haired guy! Very interested to read that he helped out at Chelsea’s academy.

Youlden, Tommy I remember Tommy when I was an 8yr old football mad lad. His father was in the war with my Dad Les Parsons. We used to go and watch Tommy at Reading FC. I remember going to his house one day and he was so lovely to me and my Dad. A truly nice man

YOULDEN, Tommy The "Goal" he Scored Against Rochdale 1st Game of the season. Great Shot from Outside the Box which nestled oyutside of the keepers left hand post. Everyone in the ground watch as their keeper collected the ball from the outside of his post and placed down for a goal-kick. Then the referee comes striding in we all thought to say somthing to the keeper, but no he grabs the ball and takes it to the centre having awarded Reading a goal. THE GROUNDS FALL SILENT then everyone is in fits of laughter for the rest of the game which finishes 1-0
