Brignull, Phil As Phil's youth team coach I took him one, as it turned out momentous Friday to get some treatment from ‘Rob’ the West Ham physio to get him fit for his next game as the England u15 centre half and captain. The treatment table was on the edge of the changing room where the 1st team were getting changed after training. As usual the dapper Bobby Moore was dressing with his immaculately ironed clothes all on hangers. The room was eerily quiet. Bobby was first changed, gathered his belongings together, turned to face the rest of the team and quietly said ”be seeing you lads” and slipped out the door to face the crowd of reporters etc waiting to see the departure of the clubs (& England’s?) greatest ever player.
