Position: Goalkeeper

Biography: United paid a fee of around £2.5 million and he immediately faced stiff competition from Fabien Barthez but won a Premier League winner's medal in his second season at Old Trafford, and then won an FA Cup winner's medal in May 2004 when he came on as a late substitute for Tim Howard. He was released at the end of the following season however, after refusing to sign a new contract because he wasn't assured of being first choice. Was treated for gambling and alcohol addictions, he has been playing for Odense BK in Denmark since August 2009.
