Chivers, Martin Part of Tottenham history. One of best strikers to appear in a Spurs shirt. Good link up with Martin Peters.

Chivers, Martin Martin broke my heart in the 1970/71 league cup final when he scored two great goals in the last 10 minutes against my club Aston Villa. There were 100.000 people in attendance that day and it is a match that will stay with me forever. I was behind the goal and my mother and father were sitting right by the royal box when they saw the mighty Spurs lift the cup. 53 years later I forgive you Martin Lol. It's ironic but I live in St Albans and am only a stones throw from the Brookmans, perhaps we can have a pint one day Martin ?

Chivers, Martin Martin finished his playing days in Swiss football playing for Servette. I refereed a game in which he played for the Swiss side.

Chivers, Martin I watched him play for Spurs in the early 70's. He was absolutely brilliant - strong, fast and very skillful. He knew where the net was, and was my favourite player. CHEEVERS CHEEVERS CHEEVERS

Chivers, Martin In 1968 Martin was in the same hospital as me, the Royal National Orthopedic Stanmore. Mum and Dad wheeled me around to where Martin laid and he was more than happy to chat. I was 12 at the time. Great memories.
