Biography: Colourful Scotsman who only played a handful of league games in England and Scotland despite being signed by half a dozen top clubs. He was reprimanded in England for breaking the rules by playing in the close season and suspended in Scotland for signing 'illegally' for Celtic. He died in 1929 aged 63.
