Biography: A Central Defender nicknamed 'Chopper' he played in the Football League between 1967-78. He is best remembered for his time at Ipswich Town between 1967-72. He later became Reserve Team Manager at Birmingham City for a period of five years. Thereafter he became a successful salesman with Glaxo. He also did PE at Queens Bridge School in Birmingham. In 1993 he established Sports Pursuits an organisation that encompasses a variety of sports which helps to coach children and community groups based on his Christian principles. He is still a partner with them based at the Renewal Christian Centre,Lode Lane Solihull. He lives with his family in Solihull.
