Position: Defender/Striker

Biography: A product of junior football in the Highlands of Scotland, joined United as a 16 year old. He made his League debut against Sunderland in December 1976 but was released after a serious ankle injury. He never played league football in England again, after seeing a move to Sheffield Wednesday fall through when he failed a medical. Enjoyed a largely successful 15 year career in football management in Scotland, the majority of which was combined with a job as a social worker. Suffered with gambling and alcohol problems, is working as a social worker in a residential home.
