David Peach

Position: Full-back

Biography: He was a ball boy at the 1966 World cup final in 1966 and then played himself in two cup finals for Saints in 1976 & 1979. He became Lawrie McMenemys first signing for Saints a midfielder who went on to become one of the best Left-backs of his time. He was the clubs regular penalty taker and held the record as the highest scoring full back in the league. After spells with Swindon Town and Orient, he was involved in local non-League football and more recently fits double glazing near his Milford on Sea home.

Peach, David David Peach is my uncle he married my dad's sister I use to go and watch him play when he was at Gillingham. He's 70 this month and looking well.
