Position: Centre-back

Biography: He only spent three seasons at Old Trafford after he became the most expensive Dutch player in history, when he moved from PSV Eindhoven for £10.6 million. During his time with the club, United won three Premier League titles, one FA Cup, an Intercontinental Cup and a Champions League crown. He fell out with Sir Alex Ferguson after comments he made about him and the club in his autobiography and he was sold to Italian outfit Lazio for £16.5m. Is now working for United as their South American scout and is on the coaching staff of FC Zwolle, in his native Holland.
