Biography: A Glasgow born wing half who turned professional in July 1967 and made his league debut against Southampton in a 6-2 defeat. That was in the September, but by February 1968 he had been advised to quit the game by doctors because of illness. He returned to Scotland where he worked on the coaching staff at Clydebank.
