Biography: Pollock had played in the same Scottish schoolboy side as Graham Souness and had made four league starts when signed from Luton Town in March 1974. He was an ever present in the fight against relegation in 1976/7 but was released the following year when the club failed to avoid the drop for a second time. He returned to Scotland to play for Queen of the South. Still lives north of the border and has taken his coaching badges but prefers to spend his time on the golf course.
