Biography: The former Macclesfield Town left-back was known for his tough tackling and committed performances on the pitch, always being relied upon to give 100%. After a falling out with Peter Jackson in the 2006-07 season, his contract was cancelled. The manager had told him and two other players that they were to be sold but to keep quiet about it, which prompted him to call in to Radio Leeds to vent his frustrations. He soon signed for Morecambe and later had spells at non-league Stalybridge Celtic and Witton Albion before hanging up his boots and retiring from football. Since his playing days came to an end, Adams has been working as a taxi driver in Altrincham.
