Biography: Afobe arrived at Huddersfield Town on loan from Arsenal in 2010 and played a huge part in that season's promotion push. Having made his debut against Sheffield Wednesday in November 2010, he played up front for the rest of that campaign, including the 2011 Play-off Final, which Town lost. At the end of the 2010-11 season, Afobe returned to his parent club and later enjoyed loan spells at Reading, Bolton Wanderers, Millwall, Sheffield Wednesday and Milton Keynes Dons before he signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers on a permanent transfer in 2015. He left for Bournemouth in 2016 and spent two years at the club before rejoining Wolves after an initial loan spell in 2018. He was immediately loaned out to Stoke City at the beginning of the 2018-19 season with the intention of making the transfer permanent at the end of the season. Despite being born in London, Afobe has played for the DR Congo national side since 2017, winning 5 caps and scoring 1 goal.
