Biography: Trevor arrived at Old Trafford for £20,000 to replace another Belfast native George Best. Frank O'Farrell, who signed him was sacked within a matter of weeks but he repaid new boss Tommy Docherty by scoring a vital goal against Leeds. Although this helped avoid relegation he was later discarded by The Doc. Worked as a clerk in Belfast City Hospital, which he combined with a successful career in football management with Linfield, Newry Town, Ards and Dundalk. Helped Linfield sweep the board, winning the League, Irish Cup, League Cup and Budweiser Cup competitions in Ireland in 1993-4.

Anderson, Trevor I remember that his whole family came over to Manchester with him. I wonder if they followed him to Swindon, Peterborough and back to Belfast?
