Position: Wing-half

Biography: Cecil was nicknamed ‘Archie’ after a popular comic book character of the time and played most of his football in the capital for Crystal Palace and QPR. Like Percy (see above) he was on Pompey’s books but left without making a League appearance. Died in Ealing in July 1986 at the age of 55.
