Biography: Burnley born striker who had a couple of stints on the south coast, the first with Bournemouth and then a brief stay at Fratton Park, which saw him score four goals in as many appearances. In between the two, he played for one season at Workington and then Southport who both lost their League status during his time with them! Ended his playing days in Tasmania, having enjoyed a brief stop-off in Sweden. Returned to live in Brigg, South Lincolnshire and to work as a delivery driver for a local stationery firm. His daughter married Hull City defender Andy Dawson.
