Biography: Ran his own industrial cleaning business in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. His vocal talents were also exposed to the nation through his regular appearances as resident singer on BBC's cult programme 'Fantasy Football' with Frank Skinner (Baggies fan) and David Baddiel. Died in the Queen's Hospital, Burton upon Trent, aged 59. It was suggested that repeated heading of the ball during his career could have been a contributory factor in his death. A set of gates erected in his honour can still be found at the Birmingham Road end of the Hawthorns ground.
