Biography: Tall goalscoring centre forward spent nine months at Fratton Park but only found the net twice during this time. Re-joined one of his former clubs, Halifax Town, for £12,000 in November 1969. At the end of his playing days, Bill bought a bakers & confectioners which he ran for thirty years. Now retired and living in West Yorkshire.
