Biography: A full back born on 16 June 1962 in Wallsend, progressed through the local Wallsend Boys Club, before an apprenticeship Saints in 1978, in and out of the side over throughout his eight years at the club as a back up to players such as Ivan Golac, Mick Mills and Gerry Forrest He transferred to Leyton Orient in March 1988 for £50,000, where he enjoyed his most productive time making 112 appearances in three seasons including a promotion to the old Thirdd Divivsion at the end of the 1988-1989 season At theend of his playing career he returned to Saints Academy to coach for a while, last reported to be working for the PFA as a Statastician
