Barrett, Les Hi Les. I remember you from Eltringham School. I went to Roehampton School. I remember we drew with your team that year. We were well pleased as everybody was talking about you even then and the goals you were scoring week in, week out. My brother Gary also played for us. Glad you are doing well. We also went to Wandsworth school No football for the first two years as I recall, just rugby. Been back to watch Fulham many times over the years.

Barrett, Les Hi All. Just to let you all know that Les is still playing !! albeit Walking footy. We have had some great laughs with him and his brother Paul. We all went to the same school, Wandsworth Secondary Modern, Sutherland Grove, where Les played in the year above me. Great player. Great guy.

Barrett, Les Had the honour of sitting next to Les’s Mum and Dad at the cup final in 1975. He was my all-time favourite player growing up at school being a left winger myself. Bumped into him years later in Walton High Street. I think he told me he was then working for BT! Lovely bloke and a very sweet left foot.

Barrett, Les My younger sister Rose Butler went out with him years ago. Unfortunately she has deceased now, she lived in Spain for 20 years and died of Lukeimia in 2020. Xxx

Barrett, Les Went to school with Les at Eltringham. What a lovely lad. Saw him a couple of times at his garden centre and once in Kingston. Lost track of now. Are Ann and Robert still going strong? I know one of the twins died.

Barrett, Les We played together through the youth and in the first team and what a great player. Bobby Robson was the manager at the time and we were training in Surrey all day in pre season. Me and Les were talking and forgot the time and were late out for afternoon training and were fined 1 pound by Bobby Robson. Happy days which I loved very much and will never forget been a "Fulham" player.

Barrett, Les Hi Les. You gave me a lift in your Ford Escort to Putney one evening as I was doing the photos for a local paper and have some great photos of you against Millwall at Craven Cottage and Steve Earle. Two great players and nice people.

Barrett, Les I remember Les scampering down the wing, a great player. Once accosted by a frustrated Liverpool supporter. No damage done. Glad to here this amiable man is still going strong.

Barrett, Les Hi, first time I saw Les was on the A&BC chewing gum card (number 94, yellow set from 68-69 I think) when I was 6 years old. He looked like a pop star.

Barrett, Les Les was voted Best Dressed Player once. But for us it was funny because Les was a scruffy bloke mostly. But he did polish up well. That's when he had a Spitfire sports car in red. An easy-going fella and still is.

BARRETT, Les Played football with Les in the 1950s,in the yard when he lived on the East Hill Estate. Mainly because it was a way of seeing his sister Ann with whom I had a crush on. Happy days.
