Biography: London-born forward who ended his two year stay at Fratton Park with the impressive goal-scoring ratio of 1 in 2. Sadly, he did only play two games and score one goal! Bartlett, Gordon Gordon took me through my Prelim badge back in 1987 after which I did many soccer schools with him. One stands out at Brunel University. It rained all day and, by the end, both he and I were covered in mud head to toe. So parents did not complain that their offspring were also in the same state. We remained friends for many years. Have not seen him in a long time other than his television appearance after a successful FA cup run. Probably the best coach I have ever come across. Many a league club would have profited from his knowledge and coaching skills.
