Biography: Bartram must be the greatest goalkeeper never to be capped for England. In his younger days he was an outfield player, but took up goal keeping while working in the pits, when the Colliery's regular keeper was injured. He went on to keep goal for Charlton for over 20 years. Opened a sports shop near The Valley after his playing days where over Died 1981. (Played in two Cup Finals 1946-1947 winning one and losing another)
