Birthplace: Watford

Position: Inside-forward

Biography: Full back, who served in the RAF during World War 2, and was signed by Chelsea after his demob. Made his debut against Liverpool in January 1947 and became a regular in the team before moving to Scotland. He was married three sons and two daughters and died in 1963 aged 43.
