Biography: Moved from Hibs to Newcastle in 1977 for £100,000. Then had a period at Preston, before returning to Scotland to play for Hamilton Academical. Coached at Hibernian, Cowdenbeath, Dundee, St Johnstone, Dundee United, Sheffield Wednesday, Swindon and Plymouth (twice). Had worked with Paul Sturrock and Kevin Summerfield until October 2009. (Only a Cup final winner once in four appearances with Hibs)
