Biography: A Portuguese international winger with 28 caps and 1 goal Boa Morte signed from Arsenal in August 1999 where he had been one of Arsne Wenger's first signings. Had an eventful short stay with Saints, he was sent off in only his second game. Later that season Glenn Hoddle replaced Dave Jones as manager and promptly dropped Boa Morte, selecting him just three times before the seasons end, he then joined Fulham on a years loan before a permanent transfer, he moved to current club West Ham in January 2007. He has to date won 28 Portuguese caps scoring one goal
