Bridges, Barry I met Barry many years ago when we were both on holiday in Crete. When we were chatting I said to him that he only had played for teams in England that played in blue. He laughed and said he hadn’t thought of that. He was a really nice bloke and very humble.

Bridges, Barry cup replay against arsenal, I was standing on the Tilton road terrace when we broke down the left wing and the ball was crossed in by Geoff Vowden (i think )i just remember bb with his back to goal executing a perfect overhead scissor kick, the ball hit the crossbar and into the net,cue pandemonium and the roof coming off the stands,we were still shouting and applauding 10 minutes later.
