Peter Broadbent

Birthplace: Elvington, Kent

Position: Midfielder

Biography: An inside forward he played in the Football League between 1950-1970. He played for Wolverhampton Wanderers between 1951-65 making 452 appearances in the Football League scoring 127 goals. During this time he won three league titles with them and the F.A.Cup. He won seven caps for England between 1958-60. After his playing career finished he opened a shop in Halesowen with his wife which was called Babyland. He was a keen golfer. After a long battle with Alzheimers disease he died in a care home near Wolverhampton on 1st October 2013 aged 80.
