Biography: Signed for Saints in 1952 in a swap deal with Charlie Wayman going to Preston, managed to score at a rate of a goal in every two games in a struggling Saints side for two years before moving onto Coventry and then Birmingham still retaining a good goals to games ratio, He finished his career as Player Manager of Scarborough
