Biography: Bryant joined Manchester United from Wrexham in October 1934 in a joint deal with Tommy Bamford, and became a consistent performer for the whole of his time at the club. He won a Division Two Championship winner's medal and was first choice inside right at the outbreak of World War Two. He played through the war years and had one season at Bradford City after peace was declared. Worked as a pressure tester for Metro- Vickers during the War before working for ICI in their Trafford Park stores in his post-playing days. He eventually retired back to his native north-east and died in Durham on Christmas day 1975 at the age of 62.
