Burns, Tony Tony worked for my uncle’s building firm in Edenbridge before signing for Arsenal. As twelve year old Arsenal fan meeting one of the players was a great experience and I still have the programme signed by the Arsenal first team squad of the time kindly given to me by Tony. I was also present when he made his Arsenal debut against Burnley 17th October 1964.

Burns, Tony I played with Tony at Durban United when he came out to South Africa. One humorous incident I recall is in RSA we refer to a bloke as an oke, Tony was mystified by this and he interpreted oke as oak as in tree. He asked me one day why I referred to blokes as trees (okes) Great guy, great sense of humour.

Burns, Tony My dad (also named Tony) is very good friends with the Burns family... even now! Mr burns had his own building company and took on my father, leading to a strong friendship thereafter. Obviously it's my father that will have stories, not myself, he doesn't know I'm writing this, but yes my old man and Tony and Tim burns go back a long way.
