Position: Defender

Biography: Solid 6ft 2in defender who won three England Under 21 caps while with Tottenham joined Pompey for £375,000 in September 1990. Over the next six years he clocked up over 180 appearances in all competitions and won over an initially sceptical crowd. Played out the remainder of his league football with Brighton and Barnet. Later managed Winchester City and was assistant boss at Eastleigh between 2012 and 2014. Settled in Hedge End and has been known to pulled on the famous blue shirt again and turn out for the ex-Pompey XI.
