Biography: Case rose to fame playing for home town Liverpool before moving to Brighton who were playing top flight football at the time. The likeable Scouser moved along the south coast in 1985 to join Southampton. During his six year stay, he saw the rise of youngsters such as Matthew Le Tissier, and Alan Shearer. Was transferred to Bournemouth by Ian Branfoot as one of his first acts after succeeding Chris Nicholl as manager. After a long and distinguished playing career, which saw him win four League titles, four Charity Shields and four European Cup and Super Cup victories, Case then managed Brighton for a short while and then Bashley in the New Forest. He continued to play in veteran teams for many years while also working in the media as a match summariser and more recently for his first love Liverpool FC as a pre match host and LFC TV.
