Biography: A member of the 1995 FA Youth Cup winning team, he played in two Premier League winning campaigns but never enough games to qualify for a winner's medal, and after failing to win a regular place in the side, he was allowed to leave the club on a free transfer. Hung up his boots at the age of 27, he is now at Sunderland where he works as strength and conditioning coach.
