Position: Striker

Biography: Although best remembered for his brilliant managerial ability, Brian scored an incredible 251 goals in 274 games, a post war ratio that is unlikely to be unbeaten. After spells in charge of Hartlepool, Derby, Brighton and Leeds, he took over at Notts Forest in 1975. Bowed out of management following the club's relegation from the top flight in 1993. In his 18 years at the City Ground they won the League, two European Cups, Four League Cups and in 1978 was voted Manager of The Year. Only the F.A, Cup eluded him. Cloughie passed away on 20th September 2004 in derby City Hospital. He had been diagnosed with stomach cancer. (Capped twice by England in 1962)
