Biography: Played in the Blues' first ever fixture. Was appointed captain for their second season, only to break his leg a few months into the campaign. He was never to play for the club again. Was working in the Rose and Crown hotel in Erdington, Birmingham at the time of his death from heart failure in February 1931.
