Craig, Tommy Remember Tommy taking part in a charity event for the Heart Foundation it was at Birmingham City. He and Peter Springett represented Sheffield Wednesday in a penalty shoot out. The main event was old England vs Old Scotland with Peter's brother Ron in goal for England. Just wondering how the Sheffield Wednesday pair faired in the completion (hope he can remember)

Craig, Tommy Tommy and I went to St Margarets school in Kinning Park then both of us went to Lourdes in Cardinals Glasgow. Tommy was team captain and played at inside-left. His outside left was a boy called Andy Lynch who went on to play for Hearts and Celtic. Lourdes went on to win the under 15’s Scottish Cup.

Craig, Tommy I went to see Sheffield Wednesday with my dad when I was a school girl. I wore a poncho made by my grandmother. It was blue and white stripes! Tommy Craig was my football hero! My first crush! I only kept going to see Tommy! Dad still follows the Owls, for his sins!

Craig, Tommy I worked for hospital radio in Newcastle when Tommy was a midfield star there. Tommy provided regular broadcasts every Friday evening before matches on the Saturday. He gave much so willingly and his Friday feature was extremely popular and was broadcast to 27 hospitals every week. Tommy did this without fail for no personal reward

Craig, Tommy I remember being at a reserve football match between Aberdeen and Hibs approx. 53 years ago where I witnessed one of the best goals I have ever seen. The problem is I can't remember if it was Tommy or his lesser known brother John who scored. If it was Tommy I'm sure he will remember it and if it was John I'm sure Tommy is now fed up hearing about it. It was a first time volley from outside the angle of the penalty box into the opposite top corner and the most memorable thing was seeing the keeper pick the ball up,tuck it under his arm and applauding the scorer for a full minute. sheer class. Perhaps you could let me know if you can find out who the scorer was. Regards Eddie Nutten
