Birthplace: Abercynon, Wales

Position: Wing-half

Biography: Served Aston Villa as player, coach and manager. Vic played over 300 league games and skippered both his club and country (Wales). Left Villa in 1974, and had a second spell in the NASL with Portland Timbers (he had earlier coached Atlanta Chiefs), before returning to England. Vic died on 21st January 2009 after a long illness. (As a manager he took Villa to the 1971 League Cup final promotion into the Second Division in 1972.
