Biography: Became Wolves' manager two years after he had stopped playing due to bouts of concussion, a They missed the League and cup double in 1960 by one point, but he was sensationally sacked in 1964. Joined an advertising agency and was appointed to the Midlands Sports Council in 1972, before retiring. He died on 28th February 2001 at the age of 84. (Took Wolves to three League titles).
