George Cummings

Position: Full-back

Biography: A Scottish international full back who was a regular for Aston Villa either side of the War. Retired in 1949 and had brief spells as Coach at Villa Park and then as Manager of Hednesford Town. Became a scout for Wolves while working for the Dunlop Rubber Company. Died in April 1987. (Division Two and a War Time League Cup winner)

Cummings, George Saw George playing for Villa Old Stars when I was a young kid A real veteran then he was ever so jovial and seemed so proud to speak to the public. I was really impressed
