Biography: After appearing in 432 first division games for Burnley as a solid Centre-half. Tommy then had 16 months at Aston Villa. Following a spell out of football, he went on to coach abroad and has since scouted for several clubs including Burnley and Sunderland. After retiring from football he went on to becoming a licensee and ran pubs in and around Burnley, including the Shooters Arms in Nelson Died on 12th July 2009. (Managed Mansfield to Promotion from the Fourth Division in 1963)
