Biography: John was still in his last year at school when he was an FA Youth Cup winner in 1995, and was tipped for a big future in the game but he couldn't get a regular game at Old Trafford. Graeme Souness took him to Ewood Park in the summer of 2000 for £1.5 million, after three seasons in the professional ranks at Old Trafford. Was released by Northampton in May 2010 but two months later signed a one year deal to play in Australia for Gold Coast United.
