Cusack, Dave Dad returned home to Thurcroft a few years ago struggling with his memory from the effects of the game back then. Short term his memory is shocking but can still remember his time in the beautiful game. I love listening to his stories and will alway be a legend to me! I’d like to thank the people who still take the time to contact him and put themselves out to come see him. We don’t get to many games at Sheffield Wednesday but when we do they make us feel welcome. Thank you.

Cusack, Dave I played with Dave in an England over 55's Vets game against Wales at St. George's Park a couple of seasons ago. We were sat in the changing room and Howard Webb walked in to chat to the players before we went out for the game. When he walked in and saw Cusack he was like a kid meeting his hero. As a lad who had been taken to see Rotherham as a youngster Howard was chuffed to see Dave and enjoyed a few beers and a catch up after the game. Cusack is still a Legend!

Cusack, Dave Dave was my hero from my short stay at Wednesday before I went onto Chester city fellow Centre-half who taught me a lot

Cusack, Dave what a player in my opinion the best Centre-half southend ever had a hard no nonsense player and what a penalty taker.also a star in that great 80/81 4th division title winning team.hats of to you dave you will always be a hero in my book.legend.

Cusack, Dave Never forget big Dave down the Den. Proper Centre-half who got stuck in & smashed in penalties. In fact it was a Cusack penalty that kept Millwall up in the 82/83 season at Chesterfield in a 1-0 win. All the best Dave from us at Millwall.

Cusack, Dave Dave Cusack lived in Thurcroft a village outside ROTHERHAM on Zamor Crescent he had a brother called Gary and when we were kids we played football on the road. He was good then every body wanted to be on his team.

Cusack, Dave not only was he good on the pitch but only this week did he come to the rescue again, helping an elderly lady fresh from her hip operation, the big man with his bad back went and sorted her overgrown garden, another satisfied customer, long live cussie, love Eileen x
