Biography: Reg played over 100 games after Freddie Cox snapped him up from Bournemouth in 1958. They had worked together previously at West Brom where Cox had been Assistant Manager. Despite being a deadly penalty taker, Reg never quite managed the step up to the higher division and he was released in 1961. A spell at Stockport County was his last involvement with league football, but he did turn out for a number of non-league sides before retiring completely. He later worked for Oakvale Nurseries in Worcestershire before retiring in 2000. Once crashed into a goalpost during an FA Cup tie for Bournemouth against Wolves and brought the goal down completely! Died in 2012.
