Position: Inside-forward

Biography: Cost the Blues 10,000 and it looked to be a bargain when he was joint top scorer with Roy Bentley in his first season. However, he was swapped with Ron Greenwood just a few months into his second campaign. Went onto become a liaison officer with Charlton Athletic before working as a machine operator for a glass company in Sunbury, Surrey, where he was based until his death in February 1985 aged 63.
