Biography: Described on his Twitter page as "Son of an Irish immigrant who served on HM Submarines", Pompey born Daish had all the characteristics to be a regular fixture but had to move away from Fratton Park to achieve that after only one appearance in blue. It was at Cambridge United that he kick started his career, which was to include 5 caps for the Republic of Ireland and a £1.5 million move from Birmingham to Coventry in 1996. Havant & Waterlooville were his last club and they gave him the chance to to take up his first managerial appointment in 2000. After a few more non-league roles, he returned to Pompey in 2017 to coach the youngsters.
