Biography: An England U21 central defender who made seven appearances whilst on loan from Tottenham. He was seriously injured in August 2009 along with his mother, Davenport was stabbed in both legs during an attack by two men, one of whom was his sisters boyfriendand was later jailed for six years for the attack, Davenport was later cleared of a charge of assult on his sister. His injuries do appear to have ended his professional career and his contract with West Ham was cancelled by mutuial consent in 2010
